Ralph Reunion -Random Cabin Fun

Kids scavenger hunt! The kids went out into the woods and did a nature scavenger hunt. Their favorite thing they found was a tiny tree lizard. I was proud of Isaac for holding it!
The very hour we left for Utah Andrew crashed on his bike. He came inside screaming but all I could see was a little cut. During the reunion though, I noticed he had a slight limp. When I checked his foot it was swollen and red.  I was a little worried but he obviously wasn't. He never complained about it, he was too busy playing. I did wrap his ankle once because I didn't want him to do more damage to it. Look how pathetic he looked when he wasn't able to be free to play.
One month old Oakley next to four month old Charlie! He kept wanting to touch her. Sweet boy.
Aunt Beka had some fun activities planned for the kids consisting of face painting, nails, super hero suckers, and make up! It was a hit. The kids love their Aunt Beka and all the things she does with them. The only nerve wracking thing was that she made me help her with the face painting. I had never done it before and I am the most untalented person on the planet when it comes to any form of art. But it was "for the children."
I love this picture I took of Kimball painting my toe nails. Oh and I don't know if you can tell but Jack asked for a football player face paint. What!!! Of course it couldn't just be a round ball or something like that, no it had to be complicated!! HAHA
Finished products!
I love this picture soooo much! It just shows how women can get things done and still take care of the little ones. Muhaha Girl Power!
Oakley was never EVER put down. At 6 weeks old she sure was a trooper for going camping in the woods with mama. Love you my sweet baby.
Emeri LOVED the freedom the cabin brought her. Without mommy's supervision she could go exploring outside, play with the ping pong balls in the basement, swipe a cookie from the counter, swing on the patio swing in the front, wandered where ever she wanted, and could ask for juice from several different people acting as if she didn't just get some from 10 other people. HAHA
Family Game Time! The first night we were at the cabin we had minute to win it games that were hilarious to watch. I love my family. They don't care about looking stupid. They are in it to win it all the way!
  Adorable cousins' picture!!!
My cousin Erin had an accidental chip explosion. She just doesn't know her own strength! I love that my family can laugh about things like this. My brother Ben took it a step further and started dumping the chips on Erin. It was so funny. Oh and here is Aunt Jessie with adorable little Hadlie! She is such a big little girl! I loved spending some time with her.

Provo Rec Center

Provo has a humongous new rec center that our family was able to enjoy. We actually went swimming there the day we arrived. Poor Austin, he drove through the night making the 18 hour trip easy on the kids and I since we slept but harder on him. He was like a zombie at the pool. He fell asleep with Oakley on a beach chair while the rest of us swam. HAHA
We also went a second time after our family reunion. It was that fun. The kids loved spending time with their aunts that they don't normally get to see. Plus, it also gave me some time to be with Oakley (at 6 weeks of age) in the nursing room without worry about the kids.
The kids sure kept Grandma and the Aunties busy!

Here is Aunt Beka, Aunt Suzie, Grandma Ralph, and my Aunt Wendy enjoying the hot tub. Man I wanted to get in so badly.
Emeri was loved by all of course. Especially my Aunt Wendy's kids.

Museum of Creativity

Before the family reunion, our family was able to spend a few days with Jared and Sereen. The activity we did together was trying out Thanksgiving Point's newest museum called The Museum of Creativity. It was such a fun kid friendly building full of jungle gyms, water works, a mini town, cordless harps, dress up, pirate ships, music rooms, outdoor fun, and SO much more. It was fascinating! After spending the whole day there we went to JCW's for an awesome meal of giant shakes and burgers with Grandma Allred.

Here the kids and Austin are trying to compare the strength of their squeeze with that of a pythons. It was so neat. I was super proud of Ally. She got 120 while Austin could only get to 90!
Here is Emeri enjoying some play time in the toddler pond. Austin and Andrew are up on the second story jungle gym. The room had these giant net bridges high up by the ceiling for people to walk across.
Emeri braved the high bridges as well. She took a bit longer to get through it. Not because she was scared but because it was difficult for her to walk on the loose rope.

The kids all got to feed this lizard live grub! His tongue moved so fast. Andrew gave his famous sunshine face after he overcame is fear and fed it.
Isaac and Oakley enjoying some Grandma time!
This was Emeri's favorite thing at the museum. A box full of tiny rubber pieces. I know, there were other incredible things to see, touch, and do, but this little box beat them all out. She kept going back to it each time I tried to show her something new. HAHA
HAHA This was awesome! In the water works area, the museum had an area where you could sit your baby into a chair that was fastened to the top of a water table. Lizzy wasn't quite sure about it; she spread her legs apart so that Ally couldn't get her into the chair. HAHA It was hilarious to watch. Instead of helping Ally I took a picture of course. HAHA Lizzy and Sierra were so cute!
Water works fun!

In the water works area of the museum, there was an exhibit where you could feel the different wind speeds of a hurricane. That was a favorite of the kids. Emeri was scared of it at first but we made her go in anyways. Boy are we glad we did that because she ended up loving it! Look at that face!
Here was Jamie, Kimmy, Lizzy, and Emeri giggling in the wind.

Tennessee FHE

On the first of August our little family headed North for a fun Ralph family reunion. Luckily, we were able to head up a few days early to see some of Austin's friends and family. On Sunday, we were able to see Jenelle and Aunt Debbies new house. All of Austin's aunts and uncles came to hang out and eat some delicious spaghetti. I loved catching up with everyone. Also, that Monday some of Austin's friends from Tennessee all got together at Jared's house for a mini reunion/FHE. It was great fun! Plus, the peach pie was fantastic--compliments to Sereen! Don't you love how Utah can bring people from all over the country together again? HAHA

Oakley's 1st Month

Here is our darling angel at a month old. Oakley is such a sweet natured baby. The only time she cries is when she is cold or hungry. She will fall asleep anywhere anytime as long as she is swaddled. Oakley's siblings adore her. I can't get them out of her face. I am surprised she hasn't gotten sick with their dirty hands and faces touching her none stop.
Oakley sure is precious to us. We love you sweetie, we can't wait to get to know you more as you grow.
