Bikes and Kites

The nice thing about Texas winters is that you can still go outside! Just grab a coat and a pair of shoes and you are good. That is exactly what we did many times in the month of February. One particular time we went for a bike ride around our neighborhood lake with Jon and his family. To one side of the bike trail is the lake and on the other is a massive hill. The kids had a ball riding their bikes down it over and over again.
KITE DAY! On one windy day we went to Walmart and got the kids some pretty sweet kites! We were outside for about 2 hours flying them and playing on the playground near by. Oh you should have seen their expressions once their kites were high up in the air and they got to hold the string all by themselves. It was pure joy. HAHA
See.....pure joy!

Here is our little girl!!!

Here is our fourth child, and second little princess at her 20 week ultrasound. We are beaming with joy to await the arrival of our little angel! Welcome to the family sweet princess.
Yep, nothing in between.
 Her foot.

Valentine's Day and Baby Gender!

This was one of the best Valentine's Days we have ever had. First off, Jon and Jenna were living with us, second, we had our gender reveal ultrasound that day, and third, Austin and I had a night out at a hotel! We went to eat at the Outback Steak House for dinner and then stayed at the Merriot Court Yard that evening. It was such a good day.
When the children were making their yummy treats, Austin and I were at the clinic for our baby's ultrasound. The tech said everything looked healthy and normal. It did take her ten minutes to be 100% sure that the gender she saw was indeed the correct one, which was nerve wracking. I even had to drink some water and wait another half an hour to try again. The little bean was playing modest. HAHA
Afterwards, Austin and I went to the dollar store and filled this cute box with the gender color of balloons.
 It's a...........
 GIRL!!!!
We are so excited to have another little princess in our family!!!
Isaac understood what the pink balloons meant and was very excited. The younger two were just happy to get a balloon! HAHA

Fun in Feb

Here is Andrew finally painting his train bank that he got from his birthday. He sat there for about 45 minutes painting it over and over again until it was brown. HAHA
This girl loooooooooooooooves to color. Whether it is with markers, paint, or crayons, Emeri is all over it. What a big girl she is. The boys finally got into it since Katelyn lived with us. Guess it is more of a girl thing.
Here is Emeri's secret hide out. She likes to take all the pots and pans out of the cabinet and sit right there.
Emeri is a very observant little lady. She is always watching the boys or I and wanting to do what we do. She will put chap stick on when I do, wash her hair when I do, cook when I do, give hugs when the boys do, play trains when the boys do, and even sit on the toilet like the boys do. HAHA
Emeri's newest thing is to put Katelyn's shoes on. She loves her cousins shoes. These ones especially because she can put them on herself.
Here is Andrew when he had a tummy bug for two weeks. Starting around 2 in the afternoon and lasting through the night, Andrew would lay on the ground or the couch, hold his tummy and moan. It was the worst at night which meant neither him nor I were getting any sleep. He was so exhausted all the time that when we would read scriptures at night he would fall asleep within minutes of laying down.
