Random Pictures of the Kids in January

Emeri loves playing Super Heroes too!

 Reading books with Daddy.

Isaac is such a big helper. I have started using Isaac when I need an extra hand with the younger kids. One of his favorite things to do is to help feed Emeri her bottle. I can't believe he can help me now. WHAT!!!! Man oh Man, it was bitter sweet all at the same time.

The boys found my brown boots and Kadi's tennis shoes and decided they wanted to wear them.--- Isaac looked like a cowboy and Andrew looked like a hick.

Isaac is a great singer!

Oh this is one of the three gigantic explosions that Emeri had with in 4 days. Yeah, disgusting, especially when I had to pull off the onsie over her head and her poop got everywhere. Love you little princess but really?

Different activities during January

Here are some of the things we have been up to with the kids. They have changed so much since we have moved to Texas and I don't want you guys to miss any of it! So I am sorry for all the pictures but I want you to not miss anything.

I have been wanting to make cookies with the boys for some time now but have just recently felt like they are old enough to assist without to much mess. They did fantastic! Their favorite part was turning off and on the kitchen aid and than of course eating the cookies.
It's so much fun being able to cook with the boys now. I love that we can interact, have fun, and learn at the same time.

The boys took Papa's wood for his fire and pretended to play pirates together. See....Isaac has a hook.

Here are the boys at the park while Austin was in a training and than inventory in Oklahoma. Thank goodness for close parks!

We have officially potty trained Andrew. He picked up on it very quickly after the first three torturous days. He comes and tells me now and will wake up at 5:30 in the morning with dry pants telling me has has to go "pee pee". Yep, 5:30 in the MORNING! He now only goes to the bathroom on a regular toilet  he is such a big boy!

Here is a little scene I made for the boys one day. I just took a cardboard box that was going to get thrown away and glued paper onto it. So simple, yet hours of fun.

This was Isaac's first day of Homeschooling! Hence, the missing pants. He absolutely had a blast!!!! We both did. We did the whole works: a fake school bus, a full class room, work sheets, stickers, recess, snack time, and craft time. He would call me teacher and I'd answer him and all the "other" students we had in our class too. He was smiling the WHOLE TIME and so was I. It even worked towards my advantage as a mom. When we were cleaning up craft time he told me he was tired and wanted to take a nap. Off the chair he hopped and into bed he went, ALL BY HIMSELF!!!! Sweet sweet music to my ears.

Here he is during craft time; painting with colored shaving cream.

Sugar cookies for FHE! Derek and Andrew were a mess but it was well worth it.

I have been wanting to do this activity for over a year now and we finally got around to it. Our boys love the book 'Green Eggs and Ham' and so I thought that having green eggs for lunch some time would be a fun idea to bring the book to life. Well, it sure did. The boys usually don't like eggs but when I told then I was making green eggs just like the book they were ecstatic. Now every time we eat eggs they insist on green ones.

Crazy Hair Day: One morning while I was feeding Emeri I noticed that the boys were particularly quiet. So much so that I put Emeri down screaming and went to check on them. I found them in the bathroom with my hair mouse doing their own hair. When they spotted my they both said "look at me mom!" Love it. So, I just took pictures instead of correcting them; a good decision I think. Oh and Isaac totally knows how to do the "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" quote from 'Megamind' the movie. Too Cute.

Andrew was riding on his remote controlled 4-wheeler and squished his finger. He is going to have to toughen up if he wants to ride with Grandpa Ralph on his real 4-wheeler one day.

The boys favorite game is with Dad. They run from the monster while Austin tries to catch them. It is simply but it means so much to them, their faces light up whenever Austin plays.

'Jurassic Park' mimic- kind of creepy I think.

Emeri's 6th Month

6 months old already  It feels like just yesterday I did her 5 month pictures. -tear- Well, little Miss Emeri is no longer a little miss. She weighs 13 lbs. 10 oz putting her in the 7th percentile for weight. Yeah! She has improved from the 3rd percentile. She has totally chunked up and it is absolutely adorable. She is in 3-6 month and 6 month clothes now, she eats a large variety of solid foods, she no longer wants to sit on my lap during Relief Society, her favorite doll is the one with little blonde braids that Seunghe got her that says 'my first doll' on it, she loves her brothers so much and expects them to make her laugh, and she had her first moment of stranger anxiety with Colton's girlfriend, it was awesome! lol Her personality has exploded and she definitely knows what she wants. Whenever I try to put the pacifier in her mouth she will grab my hand and push it away. It is crazy. So much comprehension for someone so small.

This picture took forever to take because she was always trying to get the paper. The only way I was able to take this was because I used this........................

The animal app that my boys like. lol Otherwise it was....................

than this...................................

than this............................................

to not even liking the taste.........................

........then back to this again.

Here is Emeri happy as a clam in her car walker. She is getting so good at it just within a few weeks. Before she would just let her legs dangle but today I saw her push herself over to one of the kitchen chairs. It was CRAZY! Where did she come from?

Emeri has graduated to the high chair because she can arch her back and get out of the bumboo chair before you can say Precious Petite Pretty Princess.

Here she is picking up cheerios all be herself. This was the first time I had given cheerios to her and she was able to pinch them just fine; no help from mom. -tear-

Emeri loves tummy time. So much so now that any time I put her on her back she rolls right over to her tummy to look for something to put in her mouth. I can't believe it, she just turned 6 months and she is rolling. My boys NEVER rolled. Period,. Zip. Nada. They went right to crawling at 10 months.

Emeri is getting some chub!

Sometimes we put Emeri back in the bumboo chair while we are cooking because she makes such a pretty center piece says Papa Heath.

I love this picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First off, she totally has the Jenna face down already with no instruction. Secondly, how can someone so young have so much personalty? Man am I in a run for my money when she is a teen.

This is one of Emeri's favorite toys. The boys are so fascinated that she can play with something they play with. It makes the toy cool again for them which is a plus for me.

One of her Sunday outfits. She exploded through one early on this day right as we were sitting down to take the sacrament. Perfect timing Em.

Matching Girls!

Can you say BIG BROWN EYES?!
