He no longer looks like one but now sounds like one

Ever since he was born, Andrew had the cutest yet oldest looking face. Because he had a ton of hair on the right side of his head and hardly any on the top, his features definitely complimented one of.............age and seniority. 5 months later though, our little old man is as cute as can be, but has still decided to keep some senior citizenitis with him. Our little Andrew no longer looks like an old man but sounds like one instead. I call it - a man trapped inside a baby's body trying to escape sound- (thats was the only thing I could thing of to call it)
Old man look
The reason for the old man look (the hair on the right and thin whisks on the top)
The cutest boy look (I love how his hair on the right is still the longest; the top is just finally catching up)

Boys will be Boys no matter their age

Over the past 5 months I have noticed that our boys are in love with anything that has to do with bright lights, moving objects, buttons, or sound. (For example, at this very moment Andrew is locked into the screen on our computer as I am typing this post) Okay so mostly technology things such as movies, cell phones, computers, and i touches. What I love most about their passion for these items is that it captivates them and brings out the same blank jaw dropping look on both boys. lol I am not going to lie it has been nice to turn on a baby Einstein video to help capture their attention while I work on my online class. So here are just a few photos of our boys being boys.

Andrew's 4th month

Yep, that's right. Our little Andrew is 4 months old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. It's been an exhausting yet amazing 4 months to have our two boys so close. An entertaining difference we've noticed between the two is that Andrew definitely has more facial expressions and more to say than Isaac. lol During his first 3 months we'd see Andrew doing a variety of looks from scowling at whoever was looking at him to smiling uncontrollably like an old man. We've now given him the nick name of smiley.
Here's the scowl!

The rest of these pictures are of Andrew lighting the camera up with smiles during his 4th month.

Winter blues finally over

So as many other people were experiencing, winter time was excruciatingly long and boring, especially for someone named Isaac. Day after day he would bring us his shoes and say "go" and point to the door but because Andrew was still pretty young I didn't feel comfortable taking the kids outside in 50 degree weather. Fortunately though, the last few weeks have been somewhat decent so we were finally able to go to the park with some friends and Isaac shocked me out of my wits. Here is Isaac feeling sorry for himself all winter long.
Here is Isaac laying down bored all winter long.
Finally the day came! (I don't know if you notice but there is still snow on the ground and Andrew is bundled up in a plethora of blankets)
So the big shock was that Isaac could climb the play set and go down the slide without any assistance of mine. It was crazy but also sad. Last summer all he could do was crawl on the play set, now just a winter later he's all grown up and going down the slide by himself. -tear-

Isaac's version of the Evil Eye

So, maybe I don't really have this whole discipline thing down with Isaac because whenever I am trying to be forceful and serious, he just laughs at me. Other times he mocks me by mimicking what I do back to him. For example: in order to stop Isaac from throwing his food off his trey I would say Isaac and look down at him and stare with a serious face. One time I did it and Isaac returned the look right back at me. I tried to contain myself and return the stare but I was defeated. I was cracked and started laughing so hard, now whenever he does that we all laugh, and sometimes he laughs and does the look at the same time. (See videos)

Shared Golden Birth Month

I know this was last month but I have been crazy busy with trying to finish my class in time to graduate. Sorry for the delay of posts. This post is pretty neat because both Isaac and Andrew had their Golden Month Day in the same month. What that means is that Isaac turned 18 months on the 18th of Feb. and Andrew turned 3 months on the 3rd of Feb. Usually people only do it for the actual birthdays, like mine was when I was 14, because my birthday is Sept. 14th. But I thought it was crazy that both our boys were turning the age of their birth date in the same month!! Coincident? I think not. So here are the boys each on the Golden Birth Month! Enjoy!

Yeah, Isaac kept turning around to get his bottom photographed. HA! Bet he didn't think I would put it on our blog! Muah ha ha ha ha
Then he kept wanting to pull the paper off the wall
so finally he won because I was sick of fighting him. lol
But I got my pay backs when Austin was putting on his shoes.
