Well, as you can see time as flown by so quickly! It is almost Thanksgiving. I can't believe it! Time flying also means new stages in the life of our little boy Isaac. About 3 weeks ago he reached 12 pounds and 25 and 1/2 inches. He is already fitting in some of his 6 month size clothes. So crazy.Last week Brandon and Demare came to Utah to visit and we were able to see their little girl Maggie for the first time. She was such a doll. She has the longest eye lashes I have ever seen on a baby. It was so fun to take pictures of all three kids. (to see them, check jon and jenna's blog out) Katelyn and Isaac were about the same size height wise but Maggie was such a little chunker! So cute. Now, in his third month, Isaac has started to recognize his hands and the toys on his play gym. His eyes get so big when he looks at them, it's like he's seeing things for the first time! He is also able to sit up by himself in the bumbo chair, well kind of, he more like leans then sits, but it is still an improvement from last month.lol So yeah, he is growing a ton, and starting to smile a lot more as well. One of his favorite things to do is to have mom sing the itsy bitsy spider to him and move his arms to the words. He laughs out loud when we do that. That is also one of my favorites as well, along with Head Shoulder Knees and Toes, and I'm All Made of Hinges. It is nice to finally see some reaction from him now.It makes the delivery day seem easy when he smiles up at me. Anyways, lol so yeah, we are starting to finish up school and are excited to put up our Christmas tree up the day after Thanksgiving! Oh and by the way, we are blessing Isaac the Sunday after Thanksgiving, I truly appreciate everyone that will be giving up their time and money to come. It means so much to me and I am so grateful and excited to see friends and family again. Thank you!
As of January 2014, both Austin and I are BYU graduates. Austin is currently working for Newline Interactive and I am enjoying being at home with our children. We are currently living in Dallas Texas, enjoying family living close on both sides. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful children and the next little firework will be exploding into our family on July 4th! We are so blessed and watched over by our Heavenly Father. We thank him every day for our eternal family.
Motherhood is about raising and celebrating the child you have, not the child you thought you would have. It's about understanding that he is exactly the person he is supposed to be. And that, if you're lucky, he just might be the teacher who turns you into the person you are supposed to be.” - Joan Ryan
