First swim/ Little Elm Park

Our neighborhood pool hadn't opened until memorial day but the boys could not wait that long to go swimming. It was already in the upper 80's by May. Fortunately, Jon and Jenna's neighborhood pool opened two weeks before ours so we were able to test the waters for the first time since last year with there pool. It was a fun evening, Emeri didn't get in at all but that is okay. Saved me a swim diaper. Andrew and Isaac finally got in once I put floaties on them. We are still working on the whole swimming thing, but it was their first time since last year so I wasn't expecting much.

About 20 minutes away from our house is a lake that the city of Little Elm imported some real sand for. One week day when it was bright and sunny we decided to try it out. It was amazing. The sand felt so good in between our toes. Ohhh, loved it! The kids had a great time, and their was even a few other LDS families there that we played with.
