Our 6th Anniversary!

6 years baby!!! Oh yeah!! In the 6 years we have been married we have experienced so much together. I can't imagine all the things we will experience in 10, 15 or 20 years together. Marrying Austin was the best decision I have ever made. I love him with all my heart and each year my love grows stronger and stronger.
So, for some reason I am always huge and pregnant when we have our anniversaries. I think I have only had two where I am not. HAHA This year Austin took me to good old Texas Road house for our anniversary. It was nice not to have to cook or clean anything. Austin also got me my first set of scriptures with my new last name on it. I love them! Thanks darling.

Fun Crafts in June

One thing we like to do during the day are crafts! It keeps the kids entertained while encouraging their fine motor skills. Plus, it is fun to see their different personalities in their work, they are all so different.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a favorite book with all of my kids. They love the "boom boom" part because I shake the book and tap their heads when I read those two words. It is such a good book to learn lower case letters and that is one thing we are working on right now. So, for this book we decided to make the tree and letters out of felt so they could act it out while I read it to them.
Laura Numeroff's book series, If you Give a Mouse a Cookie, is a favorite in our house. I think the kids like them because the books are either about some sort of food or a party. HAHA Hey whatever gets them excited about reading right! Here the boys are painting their very own cookies on paper plates. Yum!

Number fun!! Here the boys are doing pumpkin seed counting, alligator counting, and sticky note matching. I was surprised how captivated they were with such simple number activities. They finished quickly and asked for more, but this mama wasn't prepared for their eagerness. It took me off guard, next time I will have more things prepared. Way to go boys!

Baby sister getting a hug from her brothers! 37 weeks. And the boys got to make Olaf!
Emeri is starting to treat her doll like a baby. She puts it to sleep, feeds it in her high chair, has me swaddle it in a blanket, and tells everyone to "shhhh" when it is sleeping.

Random Fun in June

During the second week of June my sister had a training session in Dallas for her work. We were so excited because she brought my niece and nephew along with her! The cousins had so much fun together. We went to the pool and the aquarium, played lots of games together, and walked around the Mckinney Square. It was great fun.
The boys are enjoying some homemade pumpkin popsicle!
During my pregnancy I tried my best to workout so that I would have a better delivery and recovery. All the kids liked to join me for a bit while I worked out but Emeri especially like to copy everything I did. She was so cute when she tried that sometimes I had to push pause because I was laughing so hard.
Sweet Faces! Isaac loves using the couch cushions for a fort. He is getting good at building them.
Puff ball fun. The kids like to pretend the balls are food for their pretend kitchen. Of course it always ends up all over the floor. Oh well, they love it.
Here is our sweet baby girl number two at 38 weeks! We can't wait to meet her! Just don't come when Daddy is not here. That would freak mom out.
Once a day we have the boys help unload the dish washer. At first it was really cool but now of course it is a chore. HAHA I think it is a great way to get the kids involved in cleaning the house. Plus, it gives me the opportunity to teach them knife and glass safety.
Wrestling with Dad is the boys number one thing they like to do with him. Every time he asks what they want to play it is always Super heroes verses the bad guy (Daddy). It is the sweetest thing for me to see.

Andrew with No Training Wheels

Here he is!! The man of the hour, little Andrew Stephen Heath riding a bike with no training wheels at 3 1/2 years old. Way to go Andrew! The only push I did was telling him that the bike without training wheels was just like the trainer bike he rides. The trainer bikes have no petals, it focuses on teaching the kids to learn to balance by themselves. They work great, so well in fact that both my boys have learned to ride a bike without any help. Great job Andrew!
Now we love to go on rides around the lake because Andrew can keep up with Isaac.
