As ward missionaries, Austin and I were in charge of the ward Easter party. We took this opportunity to encourage our ward members to invite their friends and neighbors for some food, games, a Christ center message, face painting, and of course an Easter egg hunt. It was a great success! The only stressful part was trying to get all five kids to eat, get their faces painted, and help them with the Easter hunt. HAHA You know, not much. The funniest part was that Nathan, Andrew, and Emeri didn't quite get the concept of hunting, they did more of grabbing one and eating it instead of seeing how many more they could get. HAHA Katelyn and Isaac had no problem with that of course, just look at their baskets.
I was very proud of Isaac and Andrew with their Easter baskets this year. When we went to the dollar store to spend their chore auction money they looked passed all the candy and bought their own Easter baskets. Plus, I loved the ones they chose. Those are my boys!!!
Here are the kids with their winnings!
