For Memorial Day our little family went with Jess and Juan to Rock Canyon Park to fly kites, play with sparklers, and throw pop-its. It was the perfect place to do kites because the entire field is surrounded by hills. It looks kind of like a giant bowl. The kites worked perfect except for the fact that neither Juan nor Austin could get theirs in the air. Probably because they put the kites together wrong, but you didn't hear that from me. It was still a blast. Isaac was scared to death of the sparklers and Andrew kept wanting to fling himself down the hill. All in all, a very successful activity. The pop-its actually were a success, both Isaac and Andrew liked throwing them on the cement. Andrew could never throw his hard enough but he quickly figured out that stepping on them worked just as well.
Austin's 'filthy' kite!
Of course we had to have a spider man kite. We also got a Lightning McQueen one and a little princess one for our little girl.

Austin's blonde moment!
