Museum of Creativity

Before the family reunion, our family was able to spend a few days with Jared and Sereen. The activity we did together was trying out Thanksgiving Point's newest museum called The Museum of Creativity. It was such a fun kid friendly building full of jungle gyms, water works, a mini town, cordless harps, dress up, pirate ships, music rooms, outdoor fun, and SO much more. It was fascinating! After spending the whole day there we went to JCW's for an awesome meal of giant shakes and burgers with Grandma Allred.

Here the kids and Austin are trying to compare the strength of their squeeze with that of a pythons. It was so neat. I was super proud of Ally. She got 120 while Austin could only get to 90!
Here is Emeri enjoying some play time in the toddler pond. Austin and Andrew are up on the second story jungle gym. The room had these giant net bridges high up by the ceiling for people to walk across.
Emeri braved the high bridges as well. She took a bit longer to get through it. Not because she was scared but because it was difficult for her to walk on the loose rope.

The kids all got to feed this lizard live grub! His tongue moved so fast. Andrew gave his famous sunshine face after he overcame is fear and fed it.
Isaac and Oakley enjoying some Grandma time!
This was Emeri's favorite thing at the museum. A box full of tiny rubber pieces. I know, there were other incredible things to see, touch, and do, but this little box beat them all out. She kept going back to it each time I tried to show her something new. HAHA
HAHA This was awesome! In the water works area, the museum had an area where you could sit your baby into a chair that was fastened to the top of a water table. Lizzy wasn't quite sure about it; she spread her legs apart so that Ally couldn't get her into the chair. HAHA It was hilarious to watch. Instead of helping Ally I took a picture of course. HAHA Lizzy and Sierra were so cute!
Water works fun!

In the water works area of the museum, there was an exhibit where you could feel the different wind speeds of a hurricane. That was a favorite of the kids. Emeri was scared of it at first but we made her go in anyways. Boy are we glad we did that because she ended up loving it! Look at that face!
Here was Jamie, Kimmy, Lizzy, and Emeri giggling in the wind.
