Happy 2nd Birthday Andrew

Our little Andrew is two years old!!! We love you Andrew and are so glad that you are in our family. You are such a sweetheart and you bring so much joy to us. Your little personality is out of this world. When we ask you what song you want to sing at night you say "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......song." Andrew also loves to try copying everything Isaac says. You really have to listen to understand it but he is trying. He also says "ready, on your mark, get set, go," in his slurred 2 year old voice. Oh, one of my favorites is when he furrows his eyebrows, tilts his head to the side, puts his lips together like a fish and says "ohhhhhhh" or does that same face but says "oh man" while he swings his arms down to his side. His favorite superhero right now is "spider-man." He says it with swinging arms while running around the room. All of these quirks and phrases are just some of the reasons why we love him. His dark chocolate eyes are so big against his fair skin and long blonde hair. Such a handsome boy. We love you so much Andrew. We thank Heavenly Father every day that you are in our family. You are truly special. We love you.

For his birthday breakfast we took him to kneaders. They have AMAZING all you can eat french toast.

Andrew's 2nd birthday party was spider man themed. I don't know he really cared that it was spider man, I just loved hearing him say it every time he saw the superhero.

Here is a little taste of why I chose spider man theme. Look at that face when he saw his spider man action figure we got him for his birthday.

Austin did a fantastic job on Andrew's spider man cake.

Oh, little Preston was helping Andrew open his presents.

My Grandma and Grandpa Ralph were in town that weekend and dropped by for the party. It was so nice to see them since we weren't able to go to the family reunion in Nauvoo. They are such great grandparents.   -Thanks for the Bible book for Andrew. We have already had FHE out of it!

Aunt Sereen in all of her adorableness. Thanks for helping me with the dinner and with Emeri! Gonna miss you girl.

Aunt Jessie and Uncle Juan gave Andrew the coolest spider man shoes that have the eyes of spider man light up when he walks. Uncle Juan is definitely Andrew's favorite. He runs past everyone when Juan shows up to give him a huge hug. It is so sweet and tender. They have always had such a great connection. We love you guys. Thanks for always being there for us and especially for me when I have needed you. I have such wonderful siblings.

I found these awesome spider man masks at Walmart for super cheap. It was fun to have everyone wearing them for a bit. I think Andrew was confused about who was really the real spider man. lol Or he just thought we were all really funny looking.

He did a great job at knowing when to blow the candle out. No one had to tell him at all, and he got it on the first try.

Tearing off the mask to eat some cake. He managed to get some frosting on his fingers before we sang to him with his mask still on, but was so confused when he put his finger to his mouth and there was something in the way. lol

Spider man himself. Don't you love how you can see his nose out of the right eye. lol He wouldn't let me help him put it on. That is another one of his things. He says, "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.... do it" Whether it is getting himself into the car, getting himself out of the car, zipping up his pj's, putting his own cup of water into the sink, holding his own glass, or walking on the side walk without holding hands, I hear this statement from Andrew everywhere we go. He is my little Mr. Independent.

Sunshine face after he was through eating 2 helpings of cake and ice cream.

Proud parents of our little man.

Uncle Jared being oh so cute with his spider man mask upside down. lol

Emeri with her Great Grandma Ralph. It is crazy to think about all the time that past between when Grandma was born from when Emeri was born. It is incredible. Such wonder and history between those years.

'Great' Grandparents with their 'Great' Grand kids.
